Corporations More Threatened Than People

THANK GOD FOR HOMELAND SECURITY?

As an American, I am under-whelmed by the fact that our government, and several like-minded European governments, have the stealth capability to routinely shut down & cut the access to a website called "Pirate Bay," which offers open source programs and downloads to copyrighted movies, applications, and costly programs. This huge threat boils down to the fact that CORPORATIONS want their products protected. Pirate Bay is covertly shut down in amusing repetition. It pops back up like a horny teenager.

HOWEVER, all the King's Men & all the King's horses can't seem to disconnect the singular site, Wikileaks, which offers a dangerous proliferation of documents that can and do harm our national, and by inclusion, our personal security and safety.

Makes this citizen ponder. Our National Security Teams can detect and find the source of a secretive testing of a program to shut down our power grid by CHINA, to whom we owe 70% of our debt. Our Government can easily find a number of ways, in conjunction with other countries, to stifle a popular site that defies copyright laws.

But when a site that has proven itself to be a direct and ongoing threat to our National Security publishes secret documents that place Americans in peril, the collective minds paid to protect us sit around wondering what to do after the fact.

If there is an office or organization empowered to oversee and act upon such matters, it must be located in The Watergate Building in DC.

How stupid does our Government think we are?
